The Ba soccer team suffered their second defeat in the New World National Soccer League this afternoon to the Suva side losing 2 goals to 1.

Suva opened the account in the first half with a Krishna Sami goal before Roneel Kumar equalised for Ba in the second half.

The Capital City were unluckly to miss a penalty kick from Apisalome Turuva but Laisala Bond brought joy to the Suva fans when he scored the winning goal with 3 minutes of play remaining.

Ba tried all their best to equalise but the Suva defence held on to win the match.

In other match Rewa thumped Nasinu 3-nil.

Meanwhile the Fiji Football Association will stick to 60 minutes soccer in all of their major tournaments.

In the council meeting today the Super Premier teams agreed not to change the format to 90 minutes soccer although soccer giants Ba opposed strongly.
