An under strength Ba soccer team will travel to New Caledonia tomorrow for the crucial O-league match against AS Mont-Dore.

Three Ba players which include top strikers, Tuimasi Manuca, Peter Hughes and Niumaia Tagi cannot travel to New Caledonia as their passports have expired.

Furthermore, players like Malakai Kainihewe, Petero Daunisaka, Kini Viliame, Shalen Lal, Avinesh Waran, Malakai Tiwa and Isimeli Naresia are also not traveling with the Men in Black with some players carrying suspension while the others have not attended training.

Ba soccer President, Rishi Kumar said the team has not able to train properly due to continuous flooding in Ba over the last few weeks and his players have also been affected by the floods.

Ba does not have much chance of qualifying for the O-league final at this stage as the team is behind Waitakere United and Tahiti’s AS Tefana on the points table.

The Ba and AS Mont-Dore match kicks off 4pm this Saturday in New Caledonia.
