People living in Ba have been requested to store water after a burst main occurred this morning along the Kings road.
Areas that will be affected are Itatoko, Wailailai, Vadravadra, Natalacake, Sorokoba, Votua, Mataniqara, Vatieka, Part of Varavu, and Navatu.
Engineers from the Water Supply Department will close supply to these areas from the next hour and residents living in these areas have been advised to store water for their family use during the day as water is still in their taps.
Work in fixing this burst main is expected to be complete after lunch time and supply to normalize again by 5 o'clock this evening.
