People in Ba are feeling the effects of the drought as drains and wells are now drying out.
Ba Advisory Councilors Chairman, Daven Naidu said if similar conditions remain, people in Ba especially in the rural areas will need help.

A resident of Vaileka, Sanjeet Maharaj said the Water Authority is carting water to most areas but this is not sufficient as large scale farms need rain.
