The Ba soccer team does not want to play against Rewa this Sunday in the opening round of Fiji Sun Weetbix National soccer league competition.
Team Vice President, Anil Ameen said the side will be leaving for New Zealand on Monday and he does not want the players to travel to Nausori on Sunday.
Ameen added the Fiji Football Association should postpone the match out of respect for the late Former President, Ratu Josefa Iloilo who died last Sunday.
The Fiji FA is waiting for a formal request from the Ba FA.
The Ba and Rewa match is scheduled to kick off 3pm this Sunday at Ratu Cakobau Park and you can catch a live commentary on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
Meanwhile, Navua takes on Lautoka this hour at the TFL stadium in the Pillays Garments Champions league and you can hear reports of the match on Radio Sargam.
