A prominent soccer association is calling on the Fiji Football Association to come out clean and declare last year's National soccer league winner.
Ba soccer team which finished at the top of the points table last year was not declared the winner as a ruling is still pending in relation to the protest filed by Lautoka against a Rewa soccer player.
Ba soccer's Vice President, Anil Ameen said Fiji FA is taking a lot of time to deal with a protest which was lodged mid last year.
However, Fiji FA President, Dr Samsud Dean Sahu Khan said they are yet to receive a reply from FIFA, upon which they will make a decision on the protest.
He said Fiji FA needed more time.
Meanwhile, in the first round of Fiji Sun Weetbix National soccer league matches this week, Savusavu takes on Labasa, Nadroga plays Lautoka, Suva takes on Navua, Tavua hosts Nadi and Ba face Rewa.
