A request was made to Ba Soccer President Rishi Kumar last night, not to step down from his post.

Kumar was thinking of stepping down from the President's post because of work commitments this year.

But at the Ba Soccer Annual General Meeting last night, club delegates, players and business sectors asked Kumar to remain in his post for another season. He then agreed to stay on.

Meanwhile, Ba Soccer supporters asked Kumar, to save the Ba team from drowning this year and take them to where they were before, so that once again they can be called as the champion soccer team of Fiji.

Kumar said the players, officials and club delegates will work together this year and promises were made to take The Men In Black to greater heights in soccer.

The Ba team didn't have a good outing last year and only won the CVC title and the BOG crown while they finished third in the National League competition and failed to play in the semis during the BOG and IDC tournaments.
