Fiji soccer giants Ba now face a must win situation in their second pool game against Suva tonight in the Courts IDC to stay in contention for a semifinal spot.

After yesterday's 1-nil loss to Rewa the Men In Black will have to adapt well on how to play on the slippery turf at the TFL Stadium.

Coach Farouk Janeman's side has been in this situation on many occasions where they have lost the first game and then went on to win the tournament.

They will take on a Suva side which is riding high from a 2-nil win against Nasinu yesterday.

Coach Mike Burns said the ground conditions will make it hard for them to play constructive soccer.

Meanwhile yesterday, the Fiji Football Association Courts IDC games committee has awarded Labasa with a win in their protest against Navua in their opening pool game yesterday.

Labasa lodged the protest last night on the ground that NZ based Shalesh Kumar played for Lautoka in the O-league and then returned to Auckland City in New Zealand and should not play for Navua in the IDC.

In the protest by Nadroga, Fiji FA has stuck with Nadi winning against Nadroga by 3 goals to 1.

Games that are coming up this afternoon at 5.45pm Labasa plays Nadi, Lautoka will take on Rewa at 7pm and at 8.15pm Suva host Ba.
