Ba thrashed Gaitcha 3-nil in their opening OFC Champions League match in Govind Park last night.

Ba coach Salen Lal said he is happy with their win and how the team played throughout the game.

Lal says its good they won their first match.

The Men in Black scored through Abbu Zahid, Malakai Tiwa and Avinesh Waran.

Meanwhile, Suva was hammered 3-nil by Auckland City at the ANZ Stadium.

David Browne, Sam Burfoot and Adam McGeorge scored for the defending champions who led 1-nil at half time.

Suva coach Gurjit Singh said overall they played well but they lost focus in the second half.

Ba will face Lupe Ole Soaga on Tuesday at 4.30pm while Suva will play Amicale at 7pm at the ANZ Stadium.
