Residents of Naruku in Ba have raised concern that they are facing water cuts for over twenty years.

A resident, Dev Anand said they live in the sugar cane farming community about thirteen kilometers from Ba town and all 60 houses have water pipes which is always dry.

According to Anand, women do the washing at the nearby river and children bath in the river every day.

Anand said the water supply department always said that the water level at the Nukuloa catchment is low.
