The Ba soccer team could lose grip on the Pillay's Champion vs Champion soccer series this year.

They have won the series for the last 14 years but it does not look good this time around, as players have not been training properly.

Ba which had been recently hit by floods does not have a proper ground to train.

Association president Rishi Kumar said Xavier College and Ba Market grounds condition are worse and by training their players could hurt themselves, so they have been told only to do physical training.

He said the loss against the Hekari Souths United in the O-League has affected the players and he hopes things are sorted out by tomorrow so that players go in the field against Lautoka with a positive mind.

Ba/Lautoka match will kick off on Saturday at 3pm at Govind Park.
