Ba soccer clubs have restored pride to the soccer crazy town by reaching the final of the Southern Forest, RC Manubhai National Club Championship.

The NCC final was played between 4R Electric and Kings United yesterday at the soccer academy grounds in Ba where 4R Electric won by a goal to nil.

The whole soccer season has not been in favor for the Men in Black where Ba did not make it to the semifinals of two major tournaments and only managed to win the Vodafone Fiji Fact and National Soccer League title.

But, the weekend’s performance from the two Ba clubs has given a stern warning to all the teams that come next season, Ba will be a team to reckon with.

In the semifinals of the NCC, 4R Electric beat Southern Forest 1-0 while in the second semifinal, Kings United beat Malolo Sports Club 6-5 on penalty kicks.
