A 2-0 win for Ba against Rewa in the National soccer league yesterday means Ba now has a good chance at winning this year’s league title should the team win all its remaining matches.
Ba now has 33 points while Lautoka remains on the top with 44 points, but Ba has played two games less than Lautoka.
A young Ba outfit yesterday stood tall against an experienced Rewa team and the Men in Black meant business from the start of the game.
Ba Coach, Farouk Janeman praised his young talents who stood up to the challenge.
Janeman added the Rewa team is looking good ahead of Inkk mobile Battle of the Giants next month.
Ba's goals came through Malakai Tiwa and Laisenia Raura in the last quarter of the second half.
In other National soccer league games yesterday, Tavua and Suva drew 1-1 while Navua beat Under 20, 4-0.
