Ba soccer team bounced back after their loss to Rewa to beat Navua 2-1 in the National Soccer League match at Thompson Park.

Ba opened the scoring in the first Half through stylish midfielder, Malakai Tiwa.

The hosts came back strongly after the breather and equalized but Tiwa, who missed the game against Rewa proved to be the savior as he scored the winner to make it 2-1.

In the other matches played today, Nadi surprised Lautoka 1-0 with a first half goal from Ratu Veresa Toma while Suva maintained its winning form defeating Tavua 3-1 at National Stadium.

The Nadroga and Savusavu match had to be postponed after 7 Stallions players were kept under observation at the Labasa hospital last night due to a viral infection illness in the camp.

In the game played yesterday, Labasa held Nadroga to a 2-all draw and on Friday, Rewa shocked Ba 1-0.
