The Ba soccer team is just a step away from clinching another National Football League title after they defeated Labasa one nil at Govind Park this afternoon.
Both teams were locked nil all at half time however Ba’s Malakai Tiwa found the back of the net in the second half.
Ba now has 39 points after playing 15 matches.
In other matches this afternoon, Fiji FACT champions Nadi went down to Lautoka by 3 goals to one at Churchill Park.
Lautoka’s goals came from Shamil Rao through a penalty and two goals were scored by new Nigerian recruit Nelson Odaji.
In one other match at the ANZ National Stadium Navua thrashed Savusavu by 4 goals to nil.
