Ba back in contention
The "Men in Black" meant business from the start of the game and Tuimasi Manuca continued with his goal scoring spree as he scored two goals for the "Men In Black", while the other two goals came from Alvin Singh and Malakai Tiwa.
Pool One is now wide open as Rewa lead with 6 points, followed by Navua on 5 points and Ba and Labasa on 4 points, have equal chances of qualifying for the semifinals.
In Pool Two, Lautoka lead with 7 points, Nadi has 6 and Nadroga has 5 points.
Lautoka soccer President Shalen Prasad said that despite Suva bowing out of the competition, they gave them a good game.
Meanwhile, Suva coach Zulfikar Khan said that their aim now is a semifinal spot in the IDC.
Looking at the results of the games played yesterday, Rewa beat Tavua 5-2, Nadi thumped Nasinu 4-nil, Navua thrashed Tavua 4-nil, Lautoka beat Suva 1-nil and Ba hammered Labasa 4-nil.
The first Super Premier game today kicks off at 11:30am where Suva will take on Nasinu.
