Defending champions Suva and last year's finalist Ba have booked their places in this Saturday's semi finals of the Vodafone Fiji FACT Tournament.

This is after both teams won both their matches in the first two rounds over the weekend.

Suva beat Labasa 2-nil on Saturday before defeating Nadroga 1-nil yesterday.

Suva head coach Gurjeet Singh said the experienced players have really boosted their side.

Ba earlier hammered Nadroga 3-nil on Saturday before a hard fought 1-nil win over Labasa last night.

Ba Coach Yogendra Dutt said they had to beat Labasa.

Lautoka is another team which won both their matches defeating Navua by 2-1 on Saturday and then beating Fortech Rewa 1 nil yesterday.

In other results Fortech Rewa beat Nadi 1 nil on Saturday while Nadi beat Navua 2 nil yesterday.

Ba leads Pool A with six points. Suva also has six points. Labasa and Nadroga are yet to register any points.

Pool B sees Lautoka leading with six points, Nadi and Fortec Rewa have 3 points each while Navua is yet to register a point.

Nadroga and Labasa have no chances of qualifying for the semi finals as they have only one match remaining. Navua has a slim chance of qualifying.

Navua will have to beat Rewa and hope that Lautoka beats Nadi and they also hope that the goal difference works out in their favor.

The tournament will now move to Prince Charles Park from this Friday to Sunday where the remaining pool matches, semifinals and the final will be played.
