Ba aim to repeat historic win
Several of the soccer players that played in that match will be in action for the Ba staring line up this afternoon and expectations are high that they will deliver this afternoon.
The live commentary of the Ba/Waitakere match at 3pm can be heard on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
Meanwhile defending champions Auckland City have earned the chance to retain their O-League football title after a thrilling 1-all away draw against Papua New Guinea outfit Hekari United.
It looked like the home side had pocketed the three points they so desperately required as they went into the closing stages 1-nil up but in injury time Auckland midfielder Alex Feneridis curled home a spectacular free kick to break the hearts of Hekari.
Tahiti’s Tefana have kept themselves in the running to be the side that joins them in the final after winning 2-nil over New Caledonia club Mont-Dore, to keep the pressure on Group A leaders Waitakere United, who face Ba this afternoon.
Tefana now lead Waitakere by a point, having played one game more.
