The Suva soccer team has caused the biggest upset of the New World Super 6 League Series with a 4 goals to 2 win against soccer giants Ba at Govind Park this afternoon.

The Capital City side’s hero was ni-Vanuatu Joseph Nimarau who scored all of their four goals in the first 20 minutes of the first half.

Ba replied through Tuimasi Manuca and Keni Doidoi in the second half as Suva was reduced to 10 players after defender Akariva Dau was red carded.

It was sweet victory for former Ba rep Ravuama Madigi who is now the coach for the Suva side.

In other results, Labasa soccer team have bounced back from two straight defeats last week to Ba and Lautoka winning at home this afternoon against Nadi by 2 goals to 1.

The Babasiga Boys with the support from their home fans dominated possession but failed to hand Nadi a big score line margin.

In another game, Lautoka edged Navua 1 goal to nil.
