Ba U12 soccer team wins Primary Schools IDC title

The Under-12 Ba soccer team has won the 40th Bongo Primary Schools IDC title after thrashing Seaqaqa 3-1 in the final in the last hour.

President Mohammed Irshad Jalil says they have been preparing for the tournament since the beginning of the second school term.

The players received gold medals, a trophy and $400 prize money while the runners-up Seaqaqa received a trophy and $250.

Meanwhile, the under 14 final between Ba and Seaqaqa is underway at the Shri Gurunanak Primary School Ground in Labasa.
