The defending champions of the InKK mobile Battle of the Giant soccer tournament made a promising start of their campaign with a 2-1 win over the Nadroga side.
Tuimasi Manuca and Osea Vakatalesau scored the goals for the Ba side while Ronal Lawrence pulled one back for the Nadroga side.
Meanwhile Suva defeated Fiji fact champions Nadi 1-0 with a goal from Pita Rabo in the Second Match of the day 1.
The match currently underway is Navua against hosts Labasa where both teams are locked at 0-0.
