The Lautoka Command Centre has confirmed Ba Town still remains under 2 feet of water however it is receeding at the moment. They also confirm that the Namosau, Wailele and Koronubu flats are also under water.
They also revealed that there is no water supply for the area. The Kings Road towards Ba is open.
In Yasawa, the Soso Village, in Naviti in Yasawa, has been evacuated as their village was swamped with flood waters.
In Sigatoka, at the moment Sigatoka is experiencing very heavy downpour and strong winds with the Kavanagasau area is under 1mtrof water, the Raiwaqa bridge 2 meter, the Yalava flats is under 2 meters of water however, there is now water in Sigatoka town.
In Tavua, Tavua is currently having heavy downpour and is experiencing strong winds.
Tavua Mayor Chandra Singh said the road leading to Tavua town is flooded and about 750 people have been evacuated to Tawa District School.
