The Ba Provincial Freebird Institute has created history after winning the Vodafone Fiji Secondary School Rugby League Under 19 title for the first time ever.

Ba Provincial beat Navosa Central College 26-7 at Lawaqa Park in the final today.

Over 4,000 crowd witnessed the well work set piece and the running game style that was displayed by the Ba Provincial side.

They walked away with $1,000 cash while Navosa Central College received $250.

Out of the 25 students who will be part of the Fiji Rugby League Under 18 team, four players were selected from the champion side.

The Fiji Rugby League Under 18 side will tour to Australia next month to play a curtain raiser match for the Vodafone Fiji Bati and Toa Samoa four nations qualifier clash.

Meanwhile, Nasinu edged Ratu Navula College 20-14 in the Under 17 final while Ratu Navula beat Nasinu Secondary School 16-8 in the Under 15 final.
