The Ba Provincial Council meeting kicks off next week in Suva and high on the agenda is to visit the prison inmates who are currently serving jail sentences.
Chairman of the Ba Provincial Council, Ratu Meli Saukuru said the visit by the chiefs and the representatives of the Tikina should give the inmates a sigh of relief and comfort.
Ratu Meli said the Ba province is also willing to accept the inmates back when they return to their villages.
The two day meeting will be held at Studio six.
