Facing financial difficulties, a casual labourer at the Ba sugar mill thought he try his luck and could not believe it when he won $30,000 through a Tattslotto scratch and win ticket yesterday.

28 year old Vevemo Taukeinikoro, orginally from Serua temporarily moved to Nailaga Ba to find work to support his wife and twin boys aged two year.

Taukeinikoro said he was facing financial problems in paying his rent and supporting his family so he decided to walk into a Lotto outlet and to his surprise it was the best decision of his life.

He said he had played a couple of times was delighted, speechless and extremely excited with his good fortune.

Fiji Tattslotto Executive Director Graeme Brown confirmed the major prize scratch.
