Vodafone Labasa and Vodafone Ba started the 2008 Super Six competition with convincing victories in the opening round.

The Babasiga Lions lead the points table with 6 points after two wins last weekend. They defeated Viva Rewa 3-2 on Friday and yesterday Labasa beat Power Electric Suva 1-0.

Waitakere United based Roy Krishna and Former Suva striker Joseph Nimiriau were the stars in both the games for Labasa.

Meanwhile Ba avenged their two losses against Lautoka this season, and beat them 2-0 at Churchill Park yesterday. The Men In Black lies in second place with 3 points.

Both Ba and Labasa are expected to meet each other in the second round this weekend.
