The Ba district is facing financial difficulties in trying to get their athletes to Suva for the FMF Chow Games.
President of the Ba Head Teacher's association Ramesh Raman said this is why they are not putting pressure on their athletes to win medals at this meet.
Raman said Ba will also be making their debut in this year's games and they will use this first time experience to try and gauge the primary school meet.
The FMF Chow games will be held next Friday and Saturday at the TFL National stadium.
