On the eve of the FMF/Blue Gas Battle of the Giants soccer tournament, the biggest question now being asked is whether Vodafone Ba will be able to defend their crown come Sunday afternoon.
The Men in Black made a clean sweep in Fiji soccer in 2006 but in the 2008 season, they have lost the CVC Series title to Vodafone Labasa and also lost the Fiji Fact title to Navua.
Ba soccer president Rishi Kumar is confident that they will not let the BOG title slip away from their hands although Lautoka and Navua look to be the best teams on paper.
Kumar said like other teams, Ba has also prepared well.
Vodafone Ba will play Vodafone Labasa in their opening Pool match tomorrow at 7:30pm at the National Stadium.
