The Chiefs of Ba are expected to visit the prison inmates who are from the province of Ba and are currently serving time namely in the Korovou, Naboro, Vaturekuka and Natabua prisons.
Chairman of the Ba provincial Council Ratu Meli Saukuru said the trip to prisons will be discussed in the council meeting which kicks off on the 30 until the 31st March.
Taukei Navo said the presence of the chiefs in prison will be a boost to the inmates and will make them think twice of the offence they are charged with and to change their behavior.
The chiefs of Ba will visit the prisons after the Provincial Council meeting next month.
