Weather conditions in Ba have cleared and people are now starting to clean up their homes, compounds and shops in the town area.
This has been confirmed by Ba Mayor Pravin Bala, who said they have started cleaning as flood waters have receded and access has been gained into the town area.
Bala said they hope to complete their clean up by this Saturday.
Ba resident Gaffar Ahmed said while flood waters have receded in Ba town, there are other areas which are still inaccessible as flood waters remain.
Ahmed said people still need to remain prepared if the weather changes and there is heavy rain again.
