The 4R LTD Men In Black Ba soccer team are back in contention for a final spot in the O-League play-off after recording a 2-1 win against Hekari Souths United FC of PNG yesterday.

The Yogendra Dutt coached side is now tied with Koloale FC of the Solomon Islands with 4 points each after the win.

Ba couldn’t settle down straight after the kickoff as the hosts capitalized on their confusion and scored in the first minute.

The Visitors came back strongly and Osea Vakatalesau’s pile driver got them back into the game as the scores read 1 all at the breather.

Ba Coach Dutt replaced Vakatalesau with Maciu Daunadamu as that paid off when Daunadamu was brought down in the penalty box.

The Labasa import didn’t make any mistake from the spot kick as Ba managed to come back home with three points.

Ba Coach Yogen Dutt named a star studded side:

Jone Sarolo, Jone Vesikula, Alvin Singh, Peni Finau, Avinesh Swamy, Shalen Lal, Pita Bolaitoga, Roneel Kumar, Josaia Bukalidi, Kini Viliame and Osea Vakatalesau (Maciu Daunadamu) have been named in the starting line-up.

Ba soccer president Rishi Kumar said the players were fit for today’s game.
