Tui Tavua and former GCC Chairman Ratu Ovini Bokini has been reappointed as the chairman of the Ba Provincial Council.
Taukei Navo, Ratu Meli Saukuru, has been appointed as Vice Chairman.
Representatives from the National Council for Building a Better Fiji are currently making their presentations to the Ba Provincial Council at the Cathay Hotel in Lautoka.
Meanwhile, a majority of the members of the Ra Provincial Council do not want any ministers to be part of the Great Council of Chiefs.

Under the current GCC promulgation, the Indigenous Affairs Minister is a member of the GCC.
The Ra Provincial Council members are currently hearing the presentation of the GCC Review team headed by Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo.
