With continuous rain and flash flooding and no predicted end in sight, the Fiji Rugby Union has this afternoon announced the postponement of the BP National 7s Tournament until further notice.

Acting on the advice from the Meteorological Office, the Police and DISMAC Unit, the FRU has decided to defer the tournament until the weather clears.

Thirty-two teams are expected to participate - four of which have confirmed their participation via payment of the $200 registration fee.

The four teams include Ba, Suva, and two representative teams from Northland. The tournament has a prize pool of $15,000 with $7,000 to go to the winner.
