The Fiji Football Association has confirmed that the dates for the Battle of the Giants tournament will be changed.
Association President Doctor Shamsud Dean Sahu Khan said it will be done to accommodate the Oceania Football Confederation Futsal playoff which Fiji will host in July.
Sahu Khan said his board will meet soon to decide on the new dates for the tournament.
He said Fiji FA is serious about developing and promoting Futsal in the country and believes at this stage Futsal is the only sport in soccer where they can reach to the World Cup stage.
The BOG was set for two weekends with the first weekend of matches scheduled for July 24 25 and the final round for July 29 Aug 1 at Govind Park.
With the change now, it is highly likely the tournament will be played in August.
Ba is the defending champion of the tournament.
