Things are heating up in Lautoka like the weather, as we are only hours away for the Labasa and Ba final in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament at Churchill Park.

History shows that Ba has the upper hand when it comes to playing Labasa in the three finals they have met.

Ba has won all three against Labasa, with 2008 being the last time the two sides met, and the last time Ba won the title winning 2-1.

Ba has won the BOG title a record fourteen times, while Labasa only once back in 1997 at home.

Meanwhile, Nasinu defeated Taveuni 2-1 to clinch the Premier title.

Navinesh Akash opened the scoring for Nasinu in the 4th minute and Kaushik Kumar in the 29th minute while Melvin Kumar pulled one back for the northerners in the 55th minute to make it 2-1.

The game currently underway is the Super Premier 3rd and 4th playoff between Nadi and Lautoka which is locked at nil-all and the big game followed after this match will be the final between Ba and Labasa.
