The BLK Fiji Men’s Under 19 basketball side has again lost their third pool game losing to New Zealand 115-20 in the FIBA Oceania USP Under 19 Championship.
New Zealand who are favorites to meet Australia in the Division A finals, made a quick work of the Fijian side limiting the Fiji side to eleven points in the first two quarters.
Fiji coach Peni Ratumaiyale said the boys needed more exposer from the loss.
He added that some of the players are still 15 and 16 years old.
Meanwhile the Fiji Women’s team fought hard but was unable to triumph over the Tahiti side going down by 62-60.
Both team will play there last pool games today with Fiji Women’s taking on New Zealand at 5pm while the Men’s will face Papua New Guinea at 7 tonight.
