Over $US300 million US dollars was spent, in the last two decades for rehabilitation and infrastructure repairs after Natural Disasters struck the country.
It was revealed by Interim Fisheries and Forestry Minister, Joketani Cokanasiga during the launching of the National Disaster Awareness week at the DISMAC office in Suva this morning.
He said over $600 million was spent between 1983 and 2004.
The awareness week will start from next Monday 24th till the 28th September.
