In line with Governments plans of improving essential services to people, the Water Authority of Fiji has invited Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama for a tour of their treatment plants.

Authority's Corporate Communications team leader Michelle Tevita Singh said the ongoing upgrading works currently being undertaken is no small task with water supply within the Suva Nausori corridor expected to greatly improve.

She added the Authority is committed to making a change and with the Prime Minister touring the Waila and Tamavua Treatment plants he will see how work is progressing towards achieving that goal.

The $23 million upgrading work is funded by the ADB.
