The Australian government is yet to receive a copy of the Fiji Human Rights Commission report to the UN Commissioner of Human Rights which contains comments that the Australian naval taskforce was based just outside the Fiji waters on the request of Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase without the knowledge of his Excellency the President last December.
Speaking to Village News, Australian High Commissioner, James Batley said he is yet to receive a copy of the FHRC report before commenting on the matter later this week.
