The Air Pacific netball U21 team bowed out of the race for a quarterfinal spot in the World Junior Championships in the Cook Islands after losing to Australia 26-97.
Coach Melissa Walker said that she was proud of the brave fight the girls put up.
The girls are now looking at the 9th or 10th place depending on the England and Malaysia game tonight.
This is the second loss for the girls after they went down to South Africa yesterday 37-42.
