Australia 7s reps Henry Hutchison and Tom Lucas will spearhead the Aussie Thunderbolts 7s team's campaign at next week's Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7s.

The duo will team up with some Australian 7s boys who have been members of the Australia sevens program in their quest to win their first Coral Coast 7s title.

Thunderbolts head coach Hugh Carpenter said Fijian 7s fans should expect these two players at their very best during the three‑day event.

He says the tournament will be tough but is hopeful his boys would adapt well to the Fiji 7s environment.

Carpenter is expecting tough competition from Daveta, Tabadamu and other local teams.

He says Fijian players give 100 per cent every time they wear their club jersey and that is why it is always memorable playing in Fiji where there is such enthusiasm for the game.

The Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7s will be held at Lawaqa Park from next Thursday to Saturday.

The prize money for the men's and women's competition is $20,000.
