The Digicel Fiji 7s team is likely to face either Australia or Wales in the quarter final of the South Africa 7s this weekend.

Both sides reached the quarter finals in the Dubai 7s last weekend and are top seeded in Pool A with Scotland and France, the other two teams making up the group.

Fiji will meet Samoa, USA and Namibia in Pool B with the winner and runner up progressing to the quarter finals to meet the top two team from Pool A.

The Iliesa Tanivula coached side reached the final last year in South Africa where they lost to New Zealand and Tanivula has made it clear to the players that to be back on track for the IRB 7s series title they will need to do well in this tournament.

Fiji will open their South Africa 7s campaign against Namibia on Friday night at 11.43pm.
