Australia are faced with a daunting task on Day One of the USA 7s tournament as they take on Fiji and New Zealand.

With the unavailability of many experienced players because of injury and Super Rugby commitments, Coach Michael O’Connor believes his team is capable of producing stunning results come game time.

O’Connor was forced to make four changes to the side that took part in South Africa with Allan Fa’alava’au, Cameron Clark and Peter Schuster coming in for Sean McMahon, Luke Morahan and James Stannard.

The experienced Jordan Tuapou replaces captain Ed Jenkins.

The USA 7s will kick off this Saturday and Fiji will play Scotland at 1:06pm before meeting Australia at 4:02pm.

The final pool game is against New Zealand at 9:50am this Sunday and the quarterfinals will start at 1:52pm Sunday.
