With no timeframe set for elections in Fiji, the Australian government is now hoping that good sense will prevail and Fiji will go to elections soon.

Australian Foreign Minister, Stephen Smith who left the country on Friday said hopes are high that the political dialogue forum will progress swiftly and Fiji's leaders have the will to discuss all the proposed electoral and constitutional reforms.

Smith hopes that there are no broken promises in the end and the decision is made after the political forum on when elections will be held.
