The Australian Under 19 Women’s basketball team is the team to beat in the women’s competition of the FIBA USP Oceania Under 19 Championship after thrashing New Caledonia 125-22 this morning.
Australia also thrashed Papua New Guinea 104-16 and American Samoa 113-8.
Meanwhile the second game this morning saw the PNG Women’s team beat American Samoa 56-22.
Meanwhile the BLK Fiji Men’s side will face New Zealand at 4pm while the women’s side will take on Tahiti at 8 tonight.
The Fiji Men’s side will have to beat New Zealand and hope for PNG and Tahiti to lose their third game if they want a spot in the semi-finals.
