The Australian Rugby Union has announced a very strong team for the Uprising Fiji International 7s Festival in Suva.
The side will be represented by the Aussie Thunderbolts which will be coached by current Australian IRB Sevens Series mentor Michael O’Connor.
Some of the big names in the team include the likes of captain Ed Jenkins, Daniel Yakopo, Ed Stubbs, Jordan Tuapou and Shannon Walker.
The Aussie Thunderbolts and France are the two overseas team that have confirmed their participation in the Uprising 7s.
The Digicel Fiji 7s team will also play in this tournament and the final 12 member team for the NZ and USA 7s will be named after the Uprising 7s.
Local teams that have been confirmed are Red Rock, Army Green, Wardens, Police, Ratu Filise, Marist and Uprising.
The Uprising International 7s kicks-off on the 20th of next month at the TFL National Stadium.
