The Auditor General Eroni Vatuloka has resigned after nine years in office.

The Office of the Auditor General confirms that Vatuloka has accepted a postition with the Asian Development Bank as coordinator of a project called the Pacific Regional Audit Initiative and will serve in the post for 12 months.

Vatuloka has dedicated over 20 years of his life in the civil service serving in various ministries and departments.

The Deputy Auditor General Tevita Bolanavanua will act as Auditor General until the post is advertised.
