People need to change their attitude towards how they treat the environment as it is everyone's responsibility.

This is the message from Una Bera the Senior Health Inspector at the Department of Environments Health Unit during this week long National Environment Week celebrations with the theme "Stop Pollution - Save our Plants and Animals".

Bera said the Government is doing all it can to raise awareness on the effects of pollution and not caring for one's environment, however the onus is now on every individual to have the desire to look after it.
