The six months attachment phase of the National Employment Centre will kick start in Rakiraki by the end of the year.
Centre Director Viliame Baledrokadroka said that the this arrangement was achieved after they had discussions with the Town Council last Friday, adding the NEC clients will be based on a volunteer service with the council.
Under the NEC Decree, the clients who successfully undergo aptitude tests and life skills training will be put on 6 months attachment to any business in the country.
Baledrokadroka said that they have set out a strategic alliance and now will be organising the placement of their clients in Rakiraki.
At the moment over 5,000 people are registered with the NEC and are currently undergoing aptitude tests.
