Athletics Fiji has suffered a setback with just 16 days to go for the Pacific Games in Samoa.

James Goulding has pulled out from Team Fiji because of work commitments. Goulding was selected to guide Leslie Copeland in the Javelin event.

Athletics Fiji coach Albert Miller said instead of selecting another coach they have opted for former Marist Brothers High school shot-put champion, Solo Qisavola as an athlete to replace Goulding.

Miller said now they are waiting for the confirmation from Team Fiji to include Qisavola in the Athletics squad as he has already met the qualifying throw.
